Hi,

Already posted a few times but figured I'd drop in here. Been picking a couple months and working on acquiring a good sampling of practice / entertainment locks. Got into picking by necessity but got the bug and it's becoming a hobby now.

Thanks for the great forum!

Hi everyone, I'm Daniel and I'm a noob in lockpicking, I have picked some lame locks like a 3 pin tumbler, etc...nothing spectacular, but I'm enthusiastic that one day, I might be skilled enough to open my own lockpicking service business. For the time being, I'm just going to leave it as a hobby.

I've purchased my first proper lock pick set...a Dino 18 piece professional set. I've played around and managed to open a few cheap and cruddy locks, but still trying to work on a Yale lock which I no longer use. I'm glad to be here and would like to say that I'm duly impressed by the numbers of other enthusiasts into a niche hobby.

Well, chat to you guys soon, it's time for me to go learn a little and get started! Wish my luck!

Daniel :)

Start with something more basic.. and less high security. Setting yourself up for failure starting on locks of this calibre.

I'm a total noob at lock picking. I have been successful with a couple pad locks but haven't tried any door locks yet. Just kind of getting the hang of using a short hook and I'm looking forwards to many hours of learning the art.

Postby crackermatt » 21 Mar 2011 12:46

Hey,

What's with this error message "You do not have the required permissions to read topics within this forum", when trying to access the Combination, Electronic, and Safe section?

I'm from Boston, and work on bank equipment both physical and electronic; vaults, safes, safe deposit, AHD's, etc...

Thanks.
