@ChonkyTonks:
Those bottom few picks look a lot more Klingon-esque than the last time you made a thread about your newest homemade picks...
Nice job man...

You gotta get on some blog for hollywood movie producers and show them this stuff, I mean your first post should be these photos.
What did you make the handles of the last three out of? They are my favorites.

Lol...you really want me to get these in a movie, don't you. The handle material for these are spalted hackberry and black/white ebony. The spalted hackberry has the appearance of marble. Great stuff, but really fragile. I snapped half a pen blank trying to make these.

Yeah, it is a very cathartic and therapeutic act for me. I love that I am actually creating something as opposed to simply whiling away my time on the intarwebs.

If a Yautja picked locks, that tool in the 12th photo would be the one he would bring to a locksport meet.
If a lock is a puzzle, then its key is the complete picture

Thanks Eyes_Only, now I feel like a complete nerd for knowing what you're talking about... ChonkyTonks I like your picks a lot. The handles on the bottom are especially cool. Like you turned a snake into a tree then decided that wasn't badass enough, and made it into some picks instead.

Hey All, Been a while, I know. I have been wicked busy with life, work and making picks, thus the gap in posts here. I wanted to show you some of the latest picks I have made and see if you had any comments/critiques. Working on a 9-pick set right now that should be done in the next week or two. Some wild designs in this set. -ChonkyTonks

Thanks, LSA. You are two orders out. I am still trying to get the designs right, as well. Those will be the most complex designs yet.
