http://imgur.com/ durp, less thinking involved. now go upload harder.
The BiLock isn't the first bump proof pin tumbler because it isn't a pin tumbler.
And it's called a shear line, not a "sheerline".

I just couldnt be bothered with facebook or photobucket or any of that stuff and i only check my email about once a month.

Why is nothing in life just simple and straightforward they are even making locks harder to pick now.

Hello everyone,
The fichet F3D seems to be a great lock ! I live in Paris and I'm looking for one.
Bad luck, I ony find somes second hand ones around 250-300 euros on the french website "leboncoin" ... still too expensive for me : i'll wait some years. If you are richer than me and wants me to translate your email to the seller, do not hesitate to contact me. (My french is better than my english :-)
Enjoy mechanisms,
Alex

After the presentation at LockCon #04, I have now uploaded the full paper about the F3D to http://toool.nl/ (at the very bottom of the page).

Enjoy!

Cheers

Why is it that crazy high security locks like this never make it over to the US? Are we just lacking in imagination or simply too cheap to pay for them ?

Umm, I think i remember reading somewhere, possibly on this thread, that newer models go for like $700 new or somesuch. Since they are of such high quality they are rarely replaced so the used market is quite non existant :(

Nice animation, but it does not show the sliders moving as I think they would. The tumbler wheels rotate, making the sliders shift position. When all the sliders are in the correct location, the key can be turned.
