I use a small HPC half diamond to both lift and rotate the pins.
Insert the half diamond at a 45 degree angle in order to either rake the left or the right side of the pin, never insert it down the middle, that will lift the pins, but not do any rotating. Also, look into an L-Rake, sometimes called a riffle rake, those are disturbingly effective against Medeco cam locks, and so are Raimundo Bogota rakes.
