4 Pin Tubular Problems

Postby nhoj_yelbom » 15 Apr 2011 9:39

I have this junk 4 pin tubular here, the center will depress. I cant seem to figure out how to get the pins to bind. It does not spin like a traditional tubular.

do you have the key? looks strange to me that it doesn't spin. I guess it'll turn 90 degrees and then you'll be able to press down the plug.

cheers :)

No, i think the pins are set and then the center is depressed when you insert the key.

if so, to apply pressure and make the pins bind, you just need to press down the plug instead of turning it.

let us know if you succeed :)

You can press the center down, does not seem to bind the pins.

Maybe the pins are used to turn the mecanism. Like when the key is inserted the pins line up and when you turn the key the pins catch on a ridge or sumthing. Ive never tryd picking any of those b4 so its just a thought.
