I have heard claims, but never seen anyone do it. CB used to have some information on it, on his old website.
I have been looking at that lock for a couple of years., Working my way through many other safe-locks, and making decoder-tools for them. I have now started my first few steps towards a possible decoding/picking tool.
1. Find out how to decode a key. Done
2. Find out how to copy a damaged key. Done
THe next steps are
3. Making a tool to "set" the lock to a known key-combination, i.e. open the lock without a key.
4. Decode the lock
I am not sure if this locks attracts much attention, but I surely admire the design. However, the fact that people loose these keys too,- secures a need for a simple way to open them. In my (very limited) experience, these locks are more than often mounted in "interesting" safes.
I guess we will have to save the rest of this thread for advanced.
