Mul-t-lock H&M pick's manual

Postby damaso » 23 May 2011 11:05

Hi guys,
Does anyone have Mul-t-lock H&M pick's manual - video or text file(like .pdf) .
I bought the pick but later realized that there must have been DVD along with the pick, describing how the pick must be calibrated before use(almost broke the pick in the meantime).

Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately the video only explains how to use ALREADY calibrated pick.
i know there must be video about calibration, they send it together with the pick.

If someone could just explain it here - would appreciate it.

Thank you

did you recieve a small stamping of metal with a hole in it and channel bent edges, put the pick tip in that so that the tip fits in the corner of the channeled edges and set the round wire with the eggtooth on it so that the eggtooth points to the line scratched on that piece of metal and let us know how that works for you.

The only thing you really need to do to calibrate it is make sure that the pick's channels line up with the pin chambers and that the max height of the pick channels corresponds to a max height pin. I think it's pretty easy to do by hand with just a plug and an A pin (the smallest outer pin).

Even without a plug or calibrating-thing,- it is quite easy.

Insert the tool, put the needle/finger under pin #1. You will easily see whether it attacks under the center of the first pin. If this one is OK, so are the other four. Also take care to adjust the angle, as it should be able to ride (quite) freely under the pins.

If you are still not sure, put ultra light-tension on the tool, and test all positions. By slightly moving the tool in/out, you fill feel the finger entering the correct position, and adjust accordingly.

Hope this was helpful/understandable :)

Good luck,
Ed
