Help identifying a Yale lock please

Postby mark260171 » 10 Jun 2011 10:55

Hi guys

Could someone be so kind as to identify this Yale lock. Its going on my garage door to replace the Wilkinson padlock which was a fiver

I was given it and would like to know its security level as compared to the Abus Diskus which is about level 8 and is this Yale one any good

I tried the Yale website but couldnt find it

I am told its a few years old and it is about 2" across

Also how much would it have cost to buy

Much appreciate anyones advice

Abus Discus 24/70 would be harder to pick and harder to cut. That Yale is large, but bigger doesnt always mean tougher. The cuts on your key look like it would be easy to pick as well (if you're at all worried about picking versus someone cropping it off)
