Hi All,

Brand new to the site, but not to picking. I started in '86 or '87 with a pamphlet sized book called "The Illustrated Art Of Lock-Picking" - still have it today. I'm pretty fast with common locks, but don't have any experience with the high-end or exotic stuff - looking to change that eventually. Finding Schuyler Towne's blog re-kindled my interest, and ultimately led me here.

HI I WOULD LIKE TO START BY SAYING THAT THIS IS BY THE LOOKS OF IT A PRETTY GOOD SITE. IM ABOUT TO UNDER GO SOME TRAINING SOON, WITH REGARDS TO LOCKSMITHING AND WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF ANYONE, WHO IS TRAINED PROFESSIONALLY, IS INTERESTED IN TEACHING ME FOR A FEE. I'M KEEN TO LEARN THIS TRADE AND A GOOD LISTENER, ALSO WHEN I FIRST LEARN SOMETHING I GET IT RIGHT EVERY TIME THERE AFTER!
SO IF ANYONE WOULD BE KIND ENOUGH TO TAKE THE TIME TO TEACH ME, IT WOULD BE GRATELY APPRECIATED. THANX.

Hello everyone, new to this forum, is there such a thing as an unbrakable toilet cubical door lock? I have been asked by a client to install a catch on a toilet cubical door that won't ever break (he read about it somewhere), anyone have any ideas?

Cheers

Hey! The television show Leverage, and the copious amount of time I had post-exams I inspired me to take up lock picking. Started with paperclips, moved on to a simple pick and tension wrench. I'll be getting my first pick set soon!

Guten tag!

I was bored last week I was just lying on my bed and remembered a lock in my closet and couldn't find the key so I decided to try and pick it. I tried using bobby pins, paper clips and even tried to make my own pick from a hack saw...Just ordered my first pick set from Southord a couple days ago and can't wait for it to arrive. Don't know how long this obsession will last, but I am very determined to pick that lock and I will not cease until I do so! This site looks pretty cool and I can't wait to learn more. Happy lockpicking everybody!

Hello my name is Mike Williams.

Postby Lockwilliams » 2 Jul 2011 1:06

Hello everyone I am brand new to locksmithing. I have always have had an intrest in the trade. My plan is to own a tow truck and mostly work on the automotive side of the trade. I know I have a long ways to to go but I am thinking it will be worth it.

I live in Cloquet Minnesota, if anyone lives in the area or knows of anything going on this way Please write me. I kinda live in the middle of nowhere.
