@sikcness:

First off, welcome to LP101...

It is not as simple as a matter of surpassing a prerequisite post count to obtain access to the advanced forums... You have to participate in the LP101 forum and contribute in a positive way for a period of time and then apply for access to that section of the site... The moderators will consider your application and let you know if you will be granted access or not after a little bit of time passes during which they are voting on whether or not to grant your request...

This thread should answer all of your questions on advanced forum access:

HOW DO I GET ACCESS TO THE ADVANCED FORUMS? READ HERE.

I should warn you that asking how to get access to the automotive forum in your second post is a good way to trigger the spidey-senses of the gatekeepers -- that is a semi-suspicious thing to do and fits into a pattern of behavior which is the reasoning behind having the advanced section be closed to general access...
