Time to stop picking and start drilling

Some day ago I have situation where cylinder(Bane Sekulic)

is full with very sticky oil and fine dust and there almost no feedback when I try to picking this cylinder with manual pick and electric pick gun.

Customer want instant opening and I drill this cylinder and replace this one with new.

This is only one situation when I chose to drill or snap cylinder.

My list of usual "drilling - snapping" situations is:

1.highly glued cylinder
2.stuck cylinder(rust,broken spring,etc)
3.operational cylinder but no or little feedback when I try to pick them(sticky oil is great example)
4.Cheap cylinder whose I cant open bellow 45.min(rarely situation)

So this is my list please post yours

Any time that drilling and replacing the cylinder is going to cost less then the time spent picking.
Any time that picking a lock is going to cause frustration over my "threshold level". By the way, my threshold depends on the day.

These days, I'm only drilling interchangeable cores out, such as a control key not working in Kaba's Peaks version for Best - which seems to happen around the 5 year old mark in my building. I've gotten very, very good at drilling cores at the control shear line. Other than that, it doesn't get drilled. It gets opened and them removed.

UK manufacturers have really bumped up the standards lately and once some of the new BS rated stuff starts cropping up I can see a lot of drilling going on

Im already starting to see a lot of multlock and cisa cylinders in place of cheap chinese stuff that was fitted a few years ago and although they are pickable its not a 30 second job anymore.

Customers think you are taking the Mickey when you start picking away in the rain, they want in, NOW!
