a little device that will help you not to swear "oh sh...t" when you broke your key in the lock cylinder. you dont need to be a locksmith to remove that, if you have the tool.

I use coping saw blades. Break one end off and use the teeth to drag the key out of the keyway. I've tried a few different types of professional key extractors and nothing has worked as well.

hi maintenanceguy, the suitable material to be use should be a flexible,yet strong and reselient material like a stainless steel spring. 1 mm dia. they are very durable. it took three to four years for it to worn out, in more than 800 uses approximately.
