recently, i was figuring out of how to open an almont padlocks that has been left for nearly of disposal stage due to the fact that they been use in an open area unmaintained for a long long time.the pins were colored like sand, and really stuck up. soaking on lubricant, WD40, doesn't solve it. the Master, the change key doesnt work. the last option goes to my mind were drilling the pins/spring cover. suddenly i thought, why not try bumpkeying first? there is nothing to lose, but something will be gained (saving time if it does work) and to my surprised it does work in less than 20 seconds each, I opened 9 out of 10 of these garbage. try this in the same situation..were the pins were clogged up, or the master wafer mispositioned, or the pin spring tip caught up with the top pins and clogged it. with this, you will be able to open the lock cylinder and rectify the problem. regards.
