Master 175 Combination Padlock

Postby nitram » 27 Mar 2004 9:09

I want to open this up and modify the last two digits so that it will open regardless of their postion/number.

1) How do I open the lock case so that it can be reassembled with little/no damage?

2) How do I modify the lock to open without the last two digits?

Regards Nitram :D

To my knowledge, the lock you are talking about cannot be dissembled without damage. However, if you make a crack right where the "175" is, you can peel off the face plate. As for reassembling the lock, is just put the face plate back on and filled the clack up with soder. The only way I can think of two make the last two numbers work regarless of what number they are one, is to file down the wheels as far down as the flat spot on the wheel. I hope this was of some help.
Lock picking is an art, not a means of entry.

Good evening nitram and Wolf2486,

I made a search on the internet, and came up with this link:

It may be of use, maybe not. Best of luck.

regards from Chris B :)
