Cool new light

i hope this is in the right forum.

i was in radioshack tonight and found a cool new light. it is in the form of an earpiece, like a cell phone wireless headset. i like it better than using the maglite. it illuminates the keyway very well.

it is also LED, so it should last a while. $12.99

Mag-lite can double as a case for your picks, then you can choose whether or not you want o pick in the dark. :) If you do it for a living, you might want to light things up for a second or two to make it go a little quicker so you can get to the next job or something. ;)

Keychain light could come in handy for things, not a bad thing to have around. :)

those radioshack LED lihts are a rip-off since they can be made for under $5.00. I (like many other eager pickers on this forum.) would suggest learning how to pick in the dark. Doing this has rapidly increaced my skill in lockpicking. It is nice though to have a few seconds of light to get a tension wrench in the keyway instead of feeling around for the right place to insert it.

If you have a button battery and an led with legs that fit across the button and a piece of black electricians tape, you can have a light mounted on the shaft of your pick. if you want an on off switch, other than just pressing the legs of the led onto the battery, you will have to try harder.
