Thats funny, my ESET NOD32 Anti Virus has blocked your bobbynet.strangled.net URL ... just a heads up in case your hosting is known to be a baddie

It's not a baddie. it's my own server! , thanks for the heads up. I'll have to check why NOD32 thinks I'm a villain.

the stainless models are well done and probably a lot of work to make, from tableware, however the weight of the handles will
cause some difficulties in the feel of the pins which are very light against this weight, and would be very cold to hold in northern
areas in the post equinox dark time coming down now.
Wake up and smell the Kafka!!!

Thank you for taking the time to post back and including the message. I'll have to contact the nod32 folks to get an explanation.
Thanks again mate!

You're correct, the stainless ones is hard work to make. You are also correct in the fact that they are made from tableware. However I find the feedback to be exellent. And I might add the ones who traded or bought them also finds them real good to use. The weight was one of my concerns when i designed them. Keep in mind they are only 12 cm long and the weight is kinda nulled out when resting them on the base of the index finger. I'm not sure I'm able to explain it correctly, english is not my first language. I was surprised myself when i tested the first one and noticed this. As I said the weight was a concern all the way through the process.

When picking in the comfort of your own home, as I do, temperature is not an issue :). Even when living in Sweden :)

Im pleased you liked them.

Nice picks. My middle finger is kind of purple from using mine too much so I'm starting to appreciate the value of a good handle! :D

I have a pretty good theory as to why your site is marked as potentially dangerous as well: you're running on a dynamic DNS hosting service. A lot of people use those services for nefarious purposes like spam and malware because you can generate and delete any number of subdomains on the fly and they can be hosted from pretty much anywhere, in this case I assume off your home computer. The NOD32 folks were probably getting enough hits that it was easier to just blacklist *.strangled.net and be done with it.

Thanks man! Appreciate it.

As for your theory on why NOD32 thinks I'm a douche, I agree, that's probably it. If you feel like it and have the time try this link to see if you get the same warning: http://gulpit.se/pics/picking/diamond_clay.jpg
It's just another dns record pointing to the same server. If no warning occurs, you're correct.

My daughter's school blocks my email sent from a domain I own. Spamhaus (sp?) has blacklisted me because my host has had others send spam from their servers.

This is really bad. We're punished because of a few people can't behave.

Nice picks funkysod, as I already told you on another forum, your black pvc gem is the one I like the most.

Hey maintenanceguy, your server probably allowed open email relay, one of the most useful function we lost due to abuse by spammers! First of all close it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_mail_relay.
Then write to whom blacklisted you informing them you have fixed the issue. They should remove you from the blacklist. Good luck.

Cheers :)

Made a new style handle. These ones has a really nice texture and looks almost stone-like. I discovered them while processing the handles to mirror my previous designs, I simple stopped at this stage. I love the "natural" look and that' s the reason for the texture. Very comfortable to pick with and provides good feedback.

They need to be polished some more.. when I have the time for it!

These are actually now in my everyday toolset (wich is now 100% homebrew).

Everyday carry (ATM):
