Acquired this lock through a friend and can't find out anything about it :/

A few suggestions were that it has something to do with coal trucks/trains, possibly a prison cell? I don't know..... any info is appreciated :)

I accepted that I couldn't do it. Then I succeeded just to prove I'm never right. - Spc Lawrence

Iiinteresting.... I looked up "limehouse lock" well, yeah... lots of stuff about a canal in Britain.

Tried "limehouse lock -basin -ship -london -thames -british -canal" and I STILL get that $@$%#!!! canal....

I'd be interested to see what this lock is about.

I've got a friend who deals with railway locks, hopefully he will be able to tell me something about it.

Just having 'canal' as a keyword is a good start.... could be a boat lock?

If I had to guess, the W stands for William. So William Pace (senr - senior?).

Sorry... I can't find anything, either. I'm assuming that the "Limehouse" mark refers to the borough of London, and the "Senr" is almost certainly "Senior"... but I can't find any reference to any (William/Walter/Wallace/...) Pace, Sr. from anywhere near London at that time, nor any reference to a B. & F. W. Co. that would have been operating in the area.

Any chance of getting a better shot of the logos on either side of the keyway?
