But, when i went to the second lock, with pick set to the right marks, it would not open. I am afraid I have damaged the pins using the BIC pen method prior to getting the southord. When i look in, I do not see some of the pins.. maybe they have been pushed in and won't pop out now. This is discouraging, as I am so close. Thank you for all your encouragement. Not sure how to fix this mess.

Good job so far, you're getting better at this =)

The pins in the lock are harder than the material in the pen. Use a small slotted screwdriver, put it at 12 oclock in the slot cut into the plug, and quickly torque it back and fourth until all the pins reset and pop back out. Then the Southord can do it's thing.

Keep going, you're almost there!

I'm an idiot.. I checked messages and didn't see any. I didnt notice i had to go to the next page. So i drilled the lock out. Wasn't too bad. I had to go all the way through, but then it rotated a bit and then the lever fell off. So i was very happy to get it done. I guess I'll have to go to a locksmith to get replacement locks, eh? When i do get replacemts and their keys, I promise to guard the keys in my night table and I'll take the spares and place them under my mattress. So if in the future an idiot posts a message about lost keys to his gun cabinet, assume it is me and tell him to look under the mattress. That'll save me a lot of trouble. :-)

Oh, and I thought about your great bling and realized I already have a thick chain like that... attached to a big ball. My wife threw the keys to that away too.

Thanks for all your help! Matt.
