lock dissasembly

Hi there,
I'm having problem dissasembling this lock:

I've tried many methods, watched lots of tutorials, but none of them seems to do the trick. Is it even possible to dissasamble it?

thanx guys

@mooshie00:

Admittedly I know only a little bit about Euro cylinders but there are several topics on this forum which should be able to answer your question:

Euro cylinder repinning and breakdown photos

repinnable euro cylinder that doesn’t need disassembling

The first link takes you to a highlighted "how to guide" which is listed elsewhere on the site and even though it is old the links to the pictures still work...

The second link gives you an idea on something you can do once you get your cylinder apart to make future re-keys even easier...

Good luck...

thanx for the posts, they will be definitely useful for me in the future.. but with other locks :wink: the thing about this one, is that it just doesn't have those circlips, and they are usually removed in the first place while disassembling euro locks. That's why i have no idea how can i take apart this bastard. Well, anyway, thank you.

I believe they have to have circlips...

I broke down a few locks... all had those circlips...

Otherwise, put the key in and check if you can pull the cilinder out.... (carefull springs will spring! :P)

There is a roll pin in the cam if it doesnt pass all the way through then you will need to drill a small hole in the other side to push it out
When picking starts to hurt take your finger out
