Jow:

I just connected and it's working fine. You might need to double check your settings and make sure you're not trying to connect anonymously. Use user name: lockpicking password: 101

Hope that helps :)

what are you using to access the site? if you are using internet explorer then you need to type in the address bar ftp://lockpicking:101@nickz.homeftp.net . There has been connections to the ftp from users all morning so I know the server is not having problems. If you are on a college or corporate network there is a good chance that traffic is blocked on port 21 so you will not be able to access the site.

More importantly, if you are using IE to access FTP sites.. shame on you.

I would suggest using ftp from the command line, but FileZilla is probably alot easier and more convenient for some.

Awww...that's a bit strong. I use IE for browsing ftp sites regularly: it's simple and it works.

Could someone please download one of the larger zipped template folders and check to see if there is any drastic loss of speed during the download. Thanks in advance. :)

your ftp sever wont work, operation timed out errors, too many connections errors ect.
even with the passwords and everything its still locked out of everything

We've done this dance back and forth, over and over.

This is how it breaks down.

IF you are getting a connection of some sort into Zeke's server, then it IS working, and the problem is exclusively yours, and YOURS alone. You can be insulted, upset, angry or whatever, but if the server is taking connections, and you can't get on, then it's something with YOUR system. This has been proven time, and time again. I can access data on his server.

There are times when Zeke's server just isn't up, and there isn't a lot you can do about it except wait.
