can these locks be picked if so how ?

Some models can with special tools and LOTS of training and practice. Even then Abloy locks are of much higher quality than the made in china junk that you see now and most people cannot pick them.

For a disc Detainer lock you will need a disc detainer lock pick :roll: :P

is it right that sometimes these locks have baton on the face of them? is this just a company that makes them also how easy is that tool to use then if ya master it?

Since you guys are new here, I'll take it real easy on you..

Discussion of high security disc detainer lock picking or decoding is reserved for the Advanced forums. Just talking about Abloy's design or about how Baton makes clones of them is fine, but when you start linking decoding tools and asking how hard or easy it is to pick.

Since I don't feel like moving this to Advanced, and I want you to see my reply, I'm going to Lock the Topic.

If you are just starting out in picking or in lockie work, learn the basics of pin tumbler locks and lever locks, leave the really hard to pick Abloy style locks for another day.
