Very nice haul. Please post your thoughts on both books once you've had the time to digest the material.

Both books are awesome =) greyman, a member here, wrote the one on the left. Marc Tobias, also a member here, although not very active, wrote the one on the right, and is also responsible for LSS (Locks, Safes, and Security) which is considered by many to be the bible of physical security.

Graham's book is great, I got it for Christmas as well (its about time!) and Marc's book is very informative but really heavy on the technical details, so it' can be a little boring at times unless you live and breathe locksport and have a fetish for everything Medeco.

Both books are in my library, and any self respecting lock picker or locksmith should have these books on their shelf.

Other good reads are Steve Hamptons Modern High Security Locks - How To Open Them, and If you're more into locksmithing and want to read a book with 30 years worth of locksmithing trade and business knowledge then The Complete Book of Locks and Locksmithing 6th Edition by Bill Phillips is a good reference book.

I have Steven Hampton's book but need to re-read it now that I have more experience. When I first got it, I was still very new to locksmithing and picking/etc and a great deal of the information went over my head. I'll have to look out for the Bill Phillip's book, do you know if it's available on Amazon? I'm also saving up for the locksmith LSS as well. Merry Christmas to me :)
