Mortice Lock Picks - UK

Postby liverladylocksmith » 3 Jan 2012 21:24

Hi all,

I'm looking for recommendations on what people think are the most comprehensive set of Mortice picks about at the moment?
BS and non BS.
i.e. what are the essentials to cover most mortice locks?

I'd be interested to hear any thoughts on what is a good 'universal' set and which 'lock-specific' picks are a 'must-buy' for a NDE locksmith in the UK.

Thoughts on any pros and cons of decoding/pin & cam systems are also welcome

Many thanks :D

there are still a few of the UK experts hanging around here, in years past, there were a lot of them,
possibly if you search for
lever lock picks,
or
curtain lockpicks,
My impression from having read this site for a long time, is that there are several companies that are making and selling this sort of thing and there are one or two people who are members here who make such picks for three and five lever locks.
I forgot the names but they repeatedly appear in the various relevant threads and have good reputations.
Wake up and smell the Kafka!!!
