old vs new Best padlocks

Postby averagejoe » 7 Jan 2012 22:01

Hello,

Does anybody know if it is possible to take the internals out of the older colored logo Best padlocks and switch them over to the new ball bearing locking system? Im not sure if the areas are wide enough for the bearings or not, or if the cam design has been changed so that they are not compatible.

I really hate the look of the new ones and would rather convert my old ones over.

And yes, I know that you would need a new shackle as well.
