lost key please help

lost key please help

i realy need help, i have an old antique mailbox my grandfather turned into a "secret" bar to hide expensive liquer.
now i have a big problem, ive lost the only key, and i cant find anyware to by a new one.

i drew the key as i remember the key.
the key had the number 25.

please help

Self explanatory error message is self explanatory. (quota of attachments has been reached (too many attachments and uploads already over the last 8 years, server is full))

Glad you figured out the host a photo somewhere and paste the URL here. =)

cool key, but that's not a beginner picking project.. may be best to call a locksmith, this wont be something you can open with paperclips and bobby pins.

I just need a key for the lock really
I will post it it has a piece of round metal in it
And it is old a older cabent what can key cay I get to open it

Many old cabinet locks are limited in how many key changes the design will support, most of them have fewer than 200
If you go to one of the low end "antique" stores, you my find that they keep a cigar box full of old barrel keys (the ones with the hole for that round post) and the chances of finding one that fits the keyway are good, to make it fit the lock is a further step that may require cutting the key down a bit, you need to find a key that has room to cut down, as you cant really build it up.
