I hadn't heard of the photo essay Ray had done until today (there is just so much to wade through about the Bogotas). Anyhow, the link was dead, but my Haitian friend worked a little Vodou and it can be seen now at

So, now I'm wondering what other resources on how to make my own am I still overlooking. I've seen the hand-drawn guides, which are also awesome, and lots of photos (thanks everyone), but still no photos of the ergo handles being held. I've also seen this video,

I have found posts saying peak-to-peak measurements could be anywhere from 6.1mm to 7.8mm, so I'd like some clarity there, but even with a fast and hard number, I'd still end up experimenting. Also, someone wrote that 2.5mm tall blanks may be just right, but the consensus seems to be that for most locks, taller peaks would be better. Again, I'll have to experiment.
The coolest pro tip I've come across is that the half diamond can unlock handcuffs.
I've got great access to wiper blade inserts if anyone needs some. Just PM me if you would like some. I'm in the US, but they are light enough I would consider shipping abroad if you really can't find anything around.
Cheers,
D
