Do you have information about this lock?

Postby arnoldpredator » 14 Mar 2012 6:10

Hi to everybody.

I had an old wood box with a lock, but I lost the keys and I don't want to break the box, it would be very easy but I thought that it would be a good idea to learn something about lock picking to open it.

Thanks!

You aren't going to steal your father cigars, are you?

Just go to an antique store and look for a key that fits your keyhole... there are good chances to find a working key for your old box.

Good luck :)

The best thing to do it to read everything you can on this board about picking. Then get yourself a set of picks and start practicing. If you want to learn more about this hobby that's what you do.
That's what most of us did that were new to this. Practice at least 20 min a day and soon you will be picking away.

Hi haddo

Yes, that's the normal way but If I would start with this lock it would be helpful also, so it would be 2x1 learn and open the lock.

Perhaps it is an old lock and nobody here knows anything, I don't know.

Make a key that looks like this to your locks specifications, if it still does not work then look up impressioning warded locks, and use the key you created.
