Hi ya old mate,
well I gave it my best shot and ended up with one half hearted lock-picker wannabe, who ended up screwing me for one of my cutaways.
There's just not enough interest in Adelaide.
Sorry old mate but I've pretty well given up on the idea.
Dave.

Are any of you guys in Adelaide after some more locks? I have a heap of 570, 201 and 530 cylinders that are about to make there way to the brass bin. Some of these are very used others are new and aren't needed as the lock were put on to a restricted system. If you want the cylinders keyed up any specific way I will most likely be able to do that for you too.

I'm currently a member of an off shore locksport group, and as I reside in country SA I was wondering if there are any locksport groups in Adelaide operating. I live too far away to participate in any get to gethers but as I have developed an interest in lockpicking for the fun of it, or as a hobby in my retirement, and there doesn't appear to be too many involved with this sport, I wouldn't mind being afforded the opportunity of swapping/borrowing locks or something. Locksmiths have been a waste of time due to scrap metal value {or so I'm told} so I scrounge what I can whenever we are down in the city. I'm neither an expert lockpicker, locksmith, my knowledge of locks is rather limited, nor do I gain any financial reward with it, simply a mug punter who has a fascination with the challenge of picking locks. Unheard of in our circle of contacts and area, in fact most people raise one eyebrow when lockpicking is mentioned, hence I don't mention it to anyone anymore. Just curious to know if there are any groups operating within SA?

Yep, I'm always looking to borrow locks, pick them, then you can have them back. I'm in Adelaide fairly frequently so returning them won't be a problem.
