Have You Seen This Pin?

Postby Beanybaby » 30 Sep 2004 17:09

As I was walking home today thinking about my evil Yale X5 ( up to three spools now :) ) i thought about this as a possible security pin design. I made the pictures up on a technical drawing program:

Picture 2
Picture 3

Like I say they were just a quick thought.

Any opinions anyone?

It really wouldnt be a good pin design. Its basically a single serrated pin, and the rounded end would make the shearline easier to hit once you get past the serration. Reverse picking a lock with those pins would be pretty easy, unless there were 20-30 of them......

Hehe yeah. Took about 5 minutes to do though. It was originally pink but i felt I don't think i could post not only a very bad 'security' pin but also a pink one  :P
