The legality of selling vehicle keys / programmers..

I'm curious as to the legality of supplying tools and equipment to auto locksmiths in the UK..

I've seen many tools which are capable of programming / reprogramming keys and also the keys themselves for sale various places however I was told by a friend the sale of this kind of equipment was completely illegal?

Hopefully someone here can set me straight! :)

well i dont think he gave you all the info. for instance if you get caught with a jiggler wave key or marshall key in n. y. its a 5 yr prison sentence and a felony that stays with you for life but each state is different. so make sure you check before trying to do business. After 911 things changed and not for a good way so check state and local law before doing business its cheaper them bail bonds and court cost and lawyers!
