you can make your own hooks very easily,
forget about hacksaw blades, theres too much metal that has to be wasted before you get near the shape of a pick
You only need a chain saw file and a flat file,
start by cutting a groove in some sweeper bristle or wiper insert, near the end of your metal stock then thin the shaft, with the flat file
you also use the flat file to make rounded outer lower edge of the hook, by sweeping it across the meta to be wasted in rounded strokes
until it parrallels the curvature of the inner part of the hook which it the half of the chainsaw groove that remained after thinning the shaft.
hooks are very quick and easy to make
They need to be sanded,
You will wait for mail if you buy them but you can have a DIY hook finished in an hour. I can do it in twenty minutes but Ive been there before and know how to do it very easily and quickly.
Wake up and smell the Kafka!!!
