Dimple lock pick question

Postby clearmoon247 » 12 May 2012 10:04

i was wondering if anyone had an templates for lock picks that are used for dimple locks. Ive seen sub-par photos of a dimple lock pick set on dealextreme.com, but those don't seem to have enough detail to differentiate between most of them.

Gloves,
I already have been to that thread, have the to scale pdf and have made quite a few picks based on those designs. The only problem is that I couldn't find any dimple lock picks. I have tried a half diamond, but it just isn't working out for me. If you can find a post with the dimple locks in that thread, I would be forever in your debt, because I can't for the life of me find them anywhere in that thread or anywhere on lp101

All I can help you with is my DIY dimple pick template. Its only one pick, and I haven't refined it or even got round to making it but maybe it can help you.

This is for a bigger lock but I suppose you can just scale it down, from this you could make a few of the variants of this pick too. (A better pic of a dimple pick set:http://tinyurl.com/dxw295p.

Hope it helps a bit :)
