I´ve been lock picking for maybe half an year now and found this site only one month ago. Since then I´ve red a LOT articles and learned even more

Totally amazing how much there are knowledge and skillful members here!
My equipment is unfortunately from DX because I didn´t do internet search before ordering. I own this credit card set and bigger 30 pieces set from KLOM. But anyway practising with these I know now what direction I want to develope this hobby. And that is -of course- self made lock picks. I have an unlimited supply for street bristles from my work and I´ve already made snap guns and some other very efficient tools.
With this first post I share one way to do handle and storage to those otherwise too little picks. At least my fingers get numb after a while unless I get a bigger handle. Also it gives much better feedback. I didn´t find matching solution but I haven´t red all the topics yet...
Anyway, handle is made from 2 pieces of 2mm polycarbonate sheet. Other plastics would do too, stiffer the better. I cut the groove with router which fits very snugly to my picks. The depth of the groove is just the same as pick´s so there is absolutely no tolerances to move a pick in the groove. I cut the groove in one piece and superglued another without groove at the top of it. So handle thickness is 4mm. And if you do it snugly enough you don´t need anything else to keep the pick in place.
Storage container had originally lock saw blades in it, I shortened it so that there is no room for unnecessary movements. When putting all pieces in storage container it measures 80 x 23 x 9 mm. Not as little as bogotas but hey, you can´t beat the master in first attempt
