Yale IC Cores & Schlage D-line

Information about locks themselves. Questions, tips and lock diagram information should be posted here.

Yale IC Cores & Schlage D-line

Postby Rissa » 12 Jul 2012 15:15

Hello,
I am very unfamiliar with Yale products as my shop stocks primarily Schlage/Falcon. Will a Yale LFIC core work in a lock prepped for a Schlage LFIC core?

Thanks in advance

+1 to 2octops "No"...

The Large Format Interchangeable Cores of one manufacturer will not be compatible with those of other manufacturers unless they were specifically designed to retrofit... Schlage does not make LFICs that fit Yale housings or vice versa...
