hi
i have just ordered a southord C801 slimline euro 9 piece pick set and am expecting them to arrive possibly next week, i would just like to ask for any recommendations as to the most helpful article/tutorial for lock picking as i have never picked a lock but understand a few basics.
i would also like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to the forums and i am very excited to get into all of this :D

thanks

Which locks do you plan to tackle first?

Master Lock #3 or #5, Kwikset deadbolt(NOT Smartkey), Defiant deadbolt (Kwikset knockoff sold at Home Depot). All easy and relatively inexpensive. Don't make my mistake and go for some $3 Master Lock #140's (the small brass Master Locks). They are very frustrating starting out,but easy after a little experience. i think there's a recent thread somewhere dealing with the locks that others started with. Good luck.

Hi folks,
I know this isn't exactly a new topic but does anyone have any experience with these picks? I'm tempted to get them for my first set. Pros and cons would be useful to help me choose!
I'm based in the UK so was wondering whether it's necessary for me to purchase euro/slimline picks or whether I should get the US version.
Many thanks!
