I just did a search for Dallas area clubs, and the only thing I found was very old threads on this forum.

One would think that a student club at UT Dallas would require you to either be a member of the student body of UT or be specially authorized invited guest in order to participate... Student clubs are often funded by student fees are are regulated by university policies, it may have disbanded due to a lack of interest -- student clubs without enough membership get disbanded so the money can be used by other clubs without raising the cost of the student activities fees to support clubs with only one or two members...
