Waivers

Pull up a chair, grab a cold one, and talk about life as a locksmith. Trade stories of good and bad customers, general work day frustrations, any fun projects you worked on recently, or anything else you want to chat about with fellow locksmiths.

Waivers

Postby fawkesinator89 » 18 Aug 2012 13:26

I am starting a lock out business in Ky and I am looking for copies of waivers. If anyone could please post a copy of the waivers that they use while doing car, lock, and business lockouts it would be greatly appreciated. :) Thanks

@fawkesinator89:

You would need waivers which contain the proper legalese wording and statutory references which have force and effect in the State of Kentucky... The best thing for you to do would be find a lawyer admitted to the Bar in Kentucky who is familiar with consumer law and pay for a consultation so you have waivers which are as close to bullet proof as you can get legally in your Jurisdiction...

While you are at it with getting the waivers worked out you can also consult on what language your other contracts, estimates, default/collections notices and some decent boilerplate company policies should be to get you started to protect both your company, yourself and your customers in the event any dispute arises...

Invest now to protect your interests or pay later on when mistakes are made...
