Im sure someone will point out that it is discouraged to pick locks that are in use, but as for your problem, are you sure you are turning/picking in the correct direction? Some locks only open in one direction. Also, especially if it is a bolt, it may require a good deal of force once the lock is picked to actually engage/disengage the lock.

Try your key in the lock (assuming you have it) and see which direction it rotates to open.

Catsoup, euros have a very light throw. They turn just shy of 180 then you feel the cam pressing against the bolt, and it kinda flicks round as you turn it.

Progr4mer, if you're definitely turning it the right direction (ie. away from the frame) then I'd be willing to bet your locks have a thumbturn on one side. If this is the case you need to engage the cam with the tip of your pick to actually throw the bolt. Stick your pick into the top of the keyway, right to the back of the plug and into the cam, then push gently while turning the plug. You should feel it pop into a little gap in the cam at some point... once there, hold it like that and continue turning until it throws. They can be fidgety at times but mostly they're not too bad.

Don't rule out the 180° stuck scenario.

Are you sure that you turn everything and not only the Plug? It is possible to turn only the Plug (if you have two keys in your lock and turn one key, the other key won't turn). So you have to stick something deep in the plug until you push the end and then turn.

Sorry for the bad description but I am from Germany and don't know the right words for the different parts of the lock.

best regards,
Mojito

when the key is inserted the black "thing" in the middle is pushed and then lock is locking. if u dont push it the plug is just spinn around and dont lock. Its some kind o security.

Sorry for my bad english. Tee idea is that before spinning the plug i need to push that black thing and then spinn the plug :D

It's not for security, it's to allow the two halves of the cylinder to turn independantly. Inserting the key pushes the black piece, which then connects the cam and the plug together, whilst disconnecting it from the locked plug on the opposite side.
