Master #15 vs. Master #15 Commercial

Information about locks themselves. Questions, tips and lock diagram information should be posted here.

Master #15 vs. Master #15 Commercial

Is the Master Lock #15 Commercial lock pinned differently from the "standard" #15? The Master Lock sticky here says there are no security pins in the #15, but I find it hard to believe that any lock with a "Commercial" tag on it wouldn't have at least one spool pin in it.

I have a #15 - not 'Commercial' though - regular blue band around the bottom.

It is trickier to pick than most Master Locks (not sure why), but there are no security pins in mine. I don't think I've seen a "Commercial" #15 before...

Hmm... The specs don't really mention anything to suggest that it has security pins. If it did, you'd think they would advertise that.

Seems to be like most Master Locks - "pick resistant" because it has 5 pins - not because of what kind of pins it has.

@Josh66:

The only apparent difference seems to be the 5-pin cylinder and perhaps a different than standard keyway...
