I have been looking through this site for a couple of days for any help I can find on this gun, I dont know if there is something wrong with the one I got but when I hold it with the switch up and inserted into the lock all it seems to do is vibrate,(and not enough to open move the pins), not bounce like I believe it should do, when I turn it upside down, like I read on here, it bounces and I can open some locks, but it is awkward as old heck and definatly not comfortable to use, I have looked through the site for the tutorial by Schrub but cant find anything. Could a few of the gun owners on here possibly post how they use it, has anyone added anything onto the run button to make it more practical to use upside down?
Thanks in advance for your help..................drummond

Though I have only used a manual pick gun and never a electric one the common opinion on the SO electric pick is that it is a very poor quality tool. I've read here and there that it is cheaply made, has very short battery life and does not pack enough power to open some locks.
As a hobbyest I don't recommend having a electric pick gun but if you must have one I suggest the ones made by HPC or Wendt. I have only heard good reviews about those two makers when it comes to electric picks.
If a lock is a puzzle, then its key is the complete picture

Ok i have one that i got as a gift and it does the job.cant say in comparison as i normally pick not with the electric.now as for your issue it is made to bounce as you call it in 1 direction so you have a choice work with it upside down or turn the lock over you can use it bounceing the pins down just as well as up.hope this helps as like i said i wouldnt have paid out good money as i dont use it that often i think the plug spinner was worth the price though.good luck

So you necro/hijack a thread on Weiser locks to ask this question, and when you don't get the answer you want, you necro/hijack another thread to ask the exact same question again? Solid plan. Let me know how that works out for you. On a serious note, if you want help, perhaps try telling us why the interest in opening this specific lock? It tends to raise suspicions when someone new comes into any lockpicking forum wanting instructions for opening just one specific type of lock. Particularly when the tool of choice is considered a "shortcut" method of opening, and not the type of thing commonly used by sport lockpickers, the category into which most users of this forum fit.

361862913, Hi and welcome to the site, I am sure you will find if you do a little research and “ read between the lines” ELECTRONIC PICKGUNS don't really pick locks.. they are sold as personal pleasure devices .. hence the “adjustable vibrating head”. Anyone who tells you differently is just hiding behind the “ locksmith” story and is too embarrassed/ sexually repressed , to admit the real reason for their purchase. Please enjoy your new “ELECTRONIC PICKGUN” , always use a condom, ( I prefer the ribbed ones). NO, it won't be necessary for you to tell us how much you enjoy it or new ways you have found to “ enhance” your personal pleasure. But thank you for letting all of us know you have a new “ toy”. So if you need advise on how to use your new “ personal pleasure device” it would be best to do a Google search , as this is a HOBBIEST LOCKPICKING site. XOXOXO Bruce
