You just made that lock much more secure :) Nice job!

Would like to do that myself, have one Abloy 340 body without any guts. Will see if I can do the same with that...

Please next time post those picture links so that they appear as pictures in the post, not as links. When you see your post showing pictures in preview, it´s ok. (I´m lazy...)

Thanks!

Hi yono, you're one of the most creative inventor here on the forum. This project is your typical one. Congrats :)

I like it! Nice work. My only question is if there was any way to shorten the lock actuator without affecting functionality so the Medeco cam fits flush?
Just when you finally think you have learned it all, that is when you learn that you don't know anything yet.

Zeepia--I want to show it as picture too for easy viewing, but simply i dont know how, is there a way you know?

Femurat--thanks a lot friend, but I'm not the most, just anyone of us that stumble on one idea that can be done.

Gweins2001--Its just not possible to shorten the Medeco cam lock lenght..However, thats a good question..It can be done by laying another thickness of metal on the surface bottom of the padlock to flush the Medeco cam head.

thanks everyone.

I use photobucket for my pictures and when you click the "image code" from "get media links" it copies that link. Then you paste that to your post and you´re done. Just remember to make your pictures 800x600, bigger ones will be cut from right side.

Other members use other services but I have used this for many years and it works fine with me.

Play with one service you want to test and try it here

In phpBB you can put tags around your picture link like this: [ img]link.jpg[ /img] to get direct views (I had to insert extra spaces to keep the tags from being interpreted). I changed your links for you.
