X66 (Lane/Astra) PD 8221 type barrel

Does anyone know where I could buy PD 8221 type barrels for the X66 keyway?

I've seen them around, but apparently no one has them...

Yes that is right. I need 3 right now, but I would like to have a some more (for the future, in case I need them), because they're just so hard to find (I called IPWproline, Garwood engineering in VIC, ... but apparently their broach machine for the X66 keyway is broken or something and would cost a few thousand to fix...). Do they even make (these cylinders) them anymore?

I very much doubt that as Lane profile hasn't really been used for many years. There are probably a few old Locksmith company's that would have some of these but really you would be better updating the locks to something not so old

The Legge locks we get in come with a couple of different profile PD cylinders, if I remember tomorrow I will see if one of them is CB34R.


And can you start using Silca references like the rest of Australia, I have to keep looking them up to see what it is your after

Yeah okay sorry. I'll do that when I can, but I don't think Silca makes X95/59 blanks. Only X66 is CB34R/CB44R.

Sorry they don;t come with CB34R, only SH5 and C4, we have heaaaaaaaps of C4 PD cylinders. I don't think you are going to find a Lane PD cylinder, might be time to change all the other locks to C4.
