A few easy questions..

Hi, i'm a beginner and would be grateful if anyone answer my questions
1. Is there a thing that sometimes a pin could be stuck and you have to let go the torsion wrench for a moment?
2. How to tell which way to turn the lock?
3. Any books/reads that you suggest?

Question 1, yes a pin can be bound by too much tension from the tension wrench, being over set, or dirt/gunk in the lock.

Question 2, padlocks usually turn clockwise to unlock, deadbolts (at least in my experience) usually turn counter clockwise if mounted on the right side of the door and clockwise if mounted on the left side. These directions are to unlock, and are NOT hard and fast rules.

Question 3, lots. Look around this website, do a search for "books", or for a great tutorial, search for the tutorial by Solomon.

Welcome, and happy picking

Gordon

This is a good place to start, there is a lot of good information in it.

and remember, only pick locks that you own and that are not in use. It is a urge to start picking every lock in site after you pick one, but picking locks carries the possibility of breaking the lock.

Regarding the direction to turn a deadbolt of knob... this rule is not 100%. But, most turn toward the hinges to open.
Nothing is foolproof to a talented fool. Wisdom is not just in determining how to do something, but also includes determining whether it should be done at all.
