Buying pick set in Manhattan?

Postby jrich23 » 6 Dec 2012 18:09

Hi Everyone,

I've done a bunch of google/forum searching but haven't been able to find a definitive answer to whether I can legally order a set from lockpickshop and have it delivered to a Manhattan apartment. I don't have any certifications or anything and was just interested in taking up lock picking as a hobby. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Also is this going to get me put on any national watch lists or things of that sort? I'm a little paranoid after reading some of this stuff.

Unfortunately I think there are problems with shipping to NYC so I'm having a bit of trouble. Lockpickshop won't ship to an address other than the billing one (in NYC), which is obviously not possible. I think I got around this by using my .edu address to ship to my school in a state where I shouldn't have any problems (VT). Will this work or am I missing something?
