Hey guys
I have a wooden dresser with a lock on the jewelery drawer but I dont know where my key went! I am basically a noob at lockpicking so please give me simple instructions if you can (and I dont have any special equipment to pick). Here is a picture of the lock:

I'm going to paraphrase our site admin Squelchtone, with your answer:

Once or twice a week, a newly registered user asks a question about a lock that is in use that they have a closeup photo of. Please note the users here usually jump on that person and accuse them of trying to break in somewhere, as you can imagine, a new forum member asking specifics about a lock that looks like its in use, can cause many flags to go up.

As this is a hobbyist lockpicking site we don't recommend picking locks that are in use.
Doing so can damage them, especially if you are new to picking.
As we have no way to verify that this is your lock, I hope you understand if we are somewhat hesitant to give specific instructions on how to open it. If you are unable to locate the key, I'd recommend calling a local locksmith.

The info you are requesting is already available on the internet. I agree with MBI. Those are the rules. Not to mention that I find it odd that you have a jewelry drawer in YOUR dresser. To me it sound like a lady's dresser and since you wrote "help a poor guy out", you are not likely to be helped. Not sure Grandma would be pleased if we helped you break into her jewelry drawer.
I'm not calling you a thief but you must understand how it sounds the way you wrote it out.

I do not believe there are any how-to's, tut(orials)'s, guides, or PDF's on how to open that lock, but there is youtube and the 10 years worth of posts on this forum, so if you have time to do your own research go nuts, but we can't teach you how to pick THAT kind of lock in a guide or how to, especially if you've never picked a lock in your life. Unlike the movies, picking requires knowledge of how locks work, and having specific tools. There's nothing we could tell you to help open that lock that would be something like what you're hoping to hear: (Example: "get a paper clip, bend a 90 degree angle, insert into lock 2 inches, and rotate clockwise") we have no such instructions to provide you in any sort of how to or guide, so if you really need in, call a locksmith like the others already suggested.

best of luck,
Squelchtone
