I like an half diamond with a thin straight shaft.

Cheers :)

I'm into the SouthOrd 15 piece set (PXD15). The barrel handle gives me the rotatory action I prefer. Sometimes I have a go with a half-diamond, but I usually drop it to pick up the SouthOrd. I just find it far more comfortable. And I think it's worth the money.

That set is made by GOSO, but looking at it, I'd still prefer the SouthOrd. From what I can see, the GOSO set gives a selection of cheap rakes. It looks gimmicky to me. GOSO also has a reputation for making tools that are on the poor side of quality. Personally, I'd steer clear of it. But that's just a personal choice.

Enlarge the pic on this site, and the case looks rather poor quality too. (http://www.knife-kingdom.com/GOSO-18-Pi ... GOSO18.htm)

The SouthOrd set is all picks and no rakes, but that suits me fine. I'm not a fan of raking dimples. Too much hit and miss for me, and no where near as interesting. If you'd prefer, dimple rakes are easy enough to make, and they could be made to fit the SouthOrd handle.

If you do go for the GOSO set, try their Amazon UK shop ('UB Keys'). Prices usually work out a little cheaper. But not much.
