HELP James Gibbons Format Locks!

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone can give me any advice on picking this James Gibbons Format lock,

Design: Single Cylinder
Five Pin System
40mm Standard Length
Europrofile
Conforms To EN1303

I'm having a lot of fun playing with bump keys at the moment but I've never seen one of these before so not quite sure what I need for it. Any ideas?

Looks like a bog standard euro to me. How about a pic of the keyway?

Oh wait, I just looked it up... I've seen one of these in use once before, in a warehouse I used to work at. I think it was on a walk-in freezer. What's your interest in this specific lock exactly? Seems a bit dodgy for a first post. It's a basic cylinder, you shouldn't have much trouble picking it if you know what you're doing.

Yeh it's not picking, it's fine with that, I was just intrigued as to what bump key I'd need as I have a little 'universal' set I bought online but they don't seem to be working.

Ok, cool. So you managed to pick it, but it isn't bumping? That's not a 1A profile but it looks like they might insert anyway. If they insert ok and it isn't opening with any of the 3 heights, it could be that the spacing is different, or maybe you aren't experienced enough, or the lock is just stubborn. Wouldn't be surprised, bumping in my experience is very hit and miss... mostly miss. I wouldn't worry about it. If you picked it open, I'd just be happy with that... no sense trying to bump it as well. I know it's fun to experiment with different methods but seeing as it's still in use I'd leave bumping out of it as it can cause problems.

I wondered about that lock when I first saw it, any security pins in it?

I was at first confused by your title, as I had never heard of such a format as James Gibbons.. I just looked it up and that seems to be the brand name of lock and hardware manufacturer James Gibbons FORMAT.

Just for sake of clarity to all those reading, its' just a half euro profile cylinder, but the name brand / series is called "James Gibbons FORMAT".
