I recently purchased a HPC Blitz. It included a gift of Codesource Light. I contacted HPC, and they allowed me to upgrade to CodeSource (full blown version) It arrived yesterday, and I was pleased to find that the CD also contained their Car Opening Authority software... Sweet!

Code source is a nice program. But for the money lockcodes.com has ALOT more code than code source. I like lockcodes.com cause you can use it from a smart phone and never have to download anything!

I like code source but the Instacode in my opinion is way better. but like you said it was a gift and it works really well so dont get me wrong. instacode just suits my needs better. Infact I like HPC because of that. they have a really personal costumer service. if you need something they will do their best.

Instacode has its ups and downs. As a basic reference tool its amazing. The draw back is when you try to use it to create master key systems
I'd suggest upgrading to ProMaster if such needs are met. Generally for SFIC pinning, I use lockcodes.com on the go as well ^_^ its quick and efficient.
