Pic of MTL IC lock

My son spotted this as we walked in a strip mall. Never seen a Mul-T-Lock IC before. It also appears to be an Interactive.

It's probably a classic. An interactive never has visible warding according to this: http://www.lockpickingforensics.com/articles/mul_t_lock.pdf page 17. It's very interesting! I've never seen a MTL IC before.

There is no visible warding. Can see the first pin pretty well, though.

I can't see any warding either.
I think the M-T-L IC-s are all six pinned, so 7x7 is out, so is integrator which is just an improved 7x7. I think classic has only 5 pins so my guess is that it's interactive too. (MT5 is out too it's just so different.)

I have one of those. It actually IS an Interactive. The format is Schlage Large Format Interchangeable Core. I got one without key from ebay and Datagram rekeyed it for me. you can actually use the operator key as the control key if you take the blocking plate out... probably why there is a blocking plate. if you want more pix of this cylinder i can take some.

You are looking for details, which is good! The picture is not the best, and it is good that you know the differences between classic and interactive. Only learned about the warding not being visible on an interactive about a month ago. We all have much to learn. I certainly do. Thank you .

I had not seen one of these before. Thank you for the picture if the ic core. Did not know what format of IC it was using. Thanks for the extra info about format and pin numbers. I was hoping for the kind of info you shared when I posted this picture.

Always looking for more info on locks. LP101 is so good at helping others to learn. It is what I like best about LP101. Thanks to all who have responded, and to those who have yet to respond.
