looking for experienced locksmith

Pull up a chair, grab a cold one, and talk about life as a locksmith. Trade stories of good and bad customers, general work day frustrations, any fun projects you worked on recently, or anything else you want to chat about with fellow locksmiths.

looking for experienced locksmith

Our shop is going to be looking for a locksmith perhaps two. We are in Orlando Florida. We are a fast-paced locksmith with a storefront and service vehicles.

We are looking for someone for an entry level position but will also accept someone with more experience. Entry level means a year of experience. You should be able to pick locks, open cars and master key to one level. You should also have an ability to remove and replace commercial and residential locks and hardware.

Second position would be for either an experienced safe person or automotive locksmith. If you have your own tools that is a definite bonus.

Pay is above scale, with generous share of after hours and weekend calls. No health insurance is currently offered although we are hoping to offer it soon. Uniforms are provided.

Good driving record is vital and a criminal background check will need to be passed.
Send me a PM if interested.

without health insurance....that's a tough ask. If you get paid more to compensate for taking out your own health insurance, that might be okay.

None of the local companies offer health insurance at present. The last company I worked for did but the pay was less than half of what I make currently. So even with covering my own insurance I am ahead of the game. We looked into it and insurance for us would average $200 per employee per week if all the employees were in on it, which doesn't seem like a lot I suppose but it adds up. Only two of the current employees were willing to lose $200 per week in pay so that drives up the cost for them.
